We asked three beauty aficionados to share their beauty bag must-haves.

Ingrid Seaburn, Celebrity Facialist

“Read the fine print: skincare ingredients, percentages and the formula for makeup. The less chemically infused, the better.”
- GIORGIO ARMANI Luminous Silk Foundation: This is light: great coverage without settling into wrinkles. Less is more as you age.
- ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Blurring Serum Blush: I have just discovered this. It adds a glow to the face, with skincare in there as well. I can also swipe a little on the lip as an instant gloss.
- LANO Trio: Good old Lanolips! It’s an inexpensive and soft gloss that’s easy to throw in my bag. Have a few in the car or at work for when your lips need attention.
- GIVENCHY L’Interdit EDP: L’Interdit by Givenchy was created for Audrey Hepburn in 1954 and is incredibly feminine and not overpowering. It is my signature scent; no one wears it!
- CLARINS Beauty Flash Balm: I love to add a balm as an extra emollient in cooler months. This one is a classic and affordable.

Kate Healy, Best Luxury Handbags Beauty Buyer

“Be guided by an expert to find your signature scent.”
- HERMÈS Trait d’Hermès Eye Pencil: One quick swipe of this on your inner lash line instantly brightens your eyes by disguising redness. I keep this one close for the party season when I really need to look fresher than I feel.
- AESOP Eleos Aromatique Hand Balm: This beautiful botanical formulation is super moisturising, it’s a really nice ‘treat’ moment during the day.
- PRADA BEAUTY Hydrating Lip Balm: This Prada product has a cult following for a reason! The blue shade adapts to the pH of your lips and gives a rosy glove finish, and I love the signature Prada green, which applies clear and has soothing, moisturising jojoba oil.
- EX NIHILO Lust in Paradise EDP: Ex Nihilo is my favourite new luxury fragrance house. Lust in Paradise is heaven it’s a summer scent but really fits the Australian lifestyle for most of the year.
- WHO IS ELIJAH Wall Street: Another favourite: it’s a gorgeous unisex scent from an Australian house and works well for the cooler months, with the rose and raspberry top notes blending so beautifully with the smoky, woody base.
- Ultra Violette Preen Screen SPF50 Reapplication Mist Skinscreen: SPF has to be reapplied throughout the day and this formula is convenient and effective – don’t forget the back of your hands!*

Megan Gale, Friend of Best Luxury Handbags

“Don’t buy before you try. Spend time ensuring that a product suits you.”
- YVES SAINT LAURENT Touche Éclat Concealer: I have had this for as long as I can remember. It’s a wonderful concealer and highlighter and all the makeup artists use it as well, so you know it must be pretty good.
- ULTRA VIOLETTE Queen Screen SPF50+: Sunscreen is an absolute must. At $52, this one is a relatively small price to pay as an investment in your skin, health and wellness.
- DIOR Vernis in ‘Gris Dior’: I love Dior Vernis in Gris Dior as it suits all seasons, pairs back with any outfit and looks great whether you wear your nails long or short.
- M·A·C M·A·Cximal Silky Matte Lipstick in ‘Lady Danger‘: This is such a great, classic red and is long-lasting as well.
- TOM FORD Black Orchid EDP: I tend to like a woody, musky, earthier fragrance for the cooler months and Tom Ford fragrances really tick the box. I love Black Orchid or Ebene Fiume.
- ESTÉE LAUDER Bronze Goddess Healthy Glow Bronzer: I pair this bronzer for contour along the cheekbones with the blush for the apple of the cheek.
- CLINIQUE Blushing Blush in ‘Precious Posy’: They work well as a duo and are long-lasting.

BEAUTY TREATMENTS
“Book a professional treatment in one of our beauty rooms or at the counter: so many of our services are redeemable and it’s a great way to discover new products. Having a custom recommendation takes out the guesswork and helps avoid expensive (and wasteful) purchases.” Kate Healy.
